Drawing inspiration from both local and global influences, Suarie aims to solidify his position as a respected figure in the music industry.
Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Suarie’s love for music was sparked during his childhood, when his father introduced him to the sounds of Tupac Shakur, Shirley Caesar, and Joyous Celebration. This eclectic musical exposure laid the foundation for his passion. However, it wasn’t until he discovered South African rapper Nasty C that his fascination with creating music truly began to take shape.
Suarie began experimenting with music in 2020, drawing inspiration from notable artists such as Stogie T, A-Reece, and XXXTentacion. Over time, his creative palette expanded to include influences like Kanye West, Tyler, the Creator, and Baby Keem.
Career
Suarie wrote and recorded his first song in early 2021, titled Meanwhile in Narhaland. The track was a nod to A-Reece’s Meanwhile in Honeydew and utilized the same instrumental. Shortly after, Suarie released the song on SoundCloud as his debut single. While Meanwhile in Narhaland is no longer available, it marked the beginning of his journey as an artist.
